AEI develops ADA/EEOC compliant physical abilities testing programs for employers for the purposes of making objective and legally defensible hiring decisions based on an applicant's ability to perform the essential functions of the job. Our program has been validated through statistical research in the food, beverage and retail industries, and typically results in injury reductions averaging 30% - 40%. Since 1989, AEI has performed over 650,000 tests for employers and there are now more than 1400 employer locations using the AEI physical ability testing service nationally in the industries of grocery distribution, grocery retail, retail distribution, trucking and air transportation, among many others.
